Hello MANUS team,
I am testing MANUSpost Developer in Standard Mode.
I found a possible issue related to the Trim option in command editing.
First, with Trim disabled, I intentionally inserted blank lines inside FORMAT PROGRAM START.
Example input in the command editor:
%
{CustomProgramName}
( FORMAT:MATSURA G-TECH30I )
( DATE:{InformationDate} TIME:{InformationTime} )
{ProgramUnit}
G90G49G40G17G98
G10L2P0X0. Y0. Z0. B0. C0.
#700=300.
However, the generated NC output removed all intentional blank lines even though Trim was disabled.
After taking a screenshot of this result, I changed only the Trim setting from OFF to ON, saved the post processor, and ran the test process again.
No commands, words, events, actions, scripts, dependencies, kinematics settings, or other parameters were changed.
After that, the test output started showing only:
Value not found
Now I can no longer reproduce the previous normal output condition because the test output only shows “Value not found”.
Could you please confirm the following?
- Should intentional blank lines be preserved when Trim is disabled?
- Can changing the Trim setting cause a save/cache/generation issue?
- Is there a way to reset or refresh the post processor/workspace state?
- Can you check whether this issue is related to the Trim option or the server-side generation process?
I attached screenshots showing the Trim-disabled command editor and the generated NC output.
Best regards,
Yutaka Higuchi
